- Recover accidentally deleted data, manage and organize user folders, and set up permissions in alignment with data access policies.
Network and Server Administration
- Oversee the configuration and maintenance of network workstations, servers, and network devices, ensuring optimal performance.
- Assist in network protocol management, including TCP/IP configurations, for Windows and other systems.
Problem Investigation and Solution Implementation
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues by identifying root causes and testing potential solutions before implementation.
Device Setup and Maintenance
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware such as computers, servers, printers, and network equipment, including cabling and connections.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and implement corrective measures to restore functionality.
System Security and Confidentiality
- Implement protocols to protect network and system integrity, with a focus on safeguarding file permissions, data confidentiality, and user access.
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date records, including SOPs, IT forms, and hardware/software documentation, to support operational consistency.
Information Security Management Compliance
- Ensure compliance with MCB Information Security Management Policies (ISMS) and proactively advise on any security threats or breaches, including virus outbreaks.
Network Security and Disaster Recovery
- Monitor and enhance network security to reduce downtime, maintain access permissions, and ensure backup and disaster recovery protocols are in place.
