Malakoff has launched the first cohort of Malakoff Coaches as part of its ongoing commitment to build and strengthen the capabilities of its people. This initiative is in line with Malakoff's People Transformation Agenda under Pillar 3 and marks a significant milestone in our leadership development journey

A total of 13 high-potential employees, recommended by their respective Heads of Division/Department, have been selected as Malakoff Internal Coaches. These individuals have successfully met the rigorous criteria established by the People Division and, are currently engaged in an intensive training programme designed to prepare them for their crucial roles. Additionally, 6 Heads of Departments (“HODs”) have been chosen to join this coaching pool, setting the benchmark for excellence and leading the way in our first cohort of internal coaches. In total, Malakoff has identified 19 Internal Coaches for this first cohort.

The selected coaches have already completed a 2-day coaching programme, with the remaining 2 days scheduled for September 2024. Upon completing the full programme, the Malakoff Coaches will provide ongoing support to participants from the Leadership Development Programme for Managerial Level (“LDPM”) and Leadership Development Programme for Executive Level (“LDPE”) for FY2023. This group, comprising 18 LDPM and 19 LDPE graduates, will be paired with coaches to guide their continued development and growth.

This initiative underscores Malakoff’s unwavering dedication in leadership development. By investing in the professional growth of our employees, Malakoff not only enhances individual career paths but also ensures the organization’s long-term success and sustainability. This effort aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal (UN SDG) No. 17, which focuses on strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development. Moreover, it resonates with Malakoff’s overarching purpose of ‘Enhancing Life, Enriching Communities.’
