A friendly golf game with Manjung, Perak authorities was held at Damai Laut Golf & Country Club, Lumut, Perak on 8 October 2016 and was participated by 16 golfers. This friendly is part of our regulatory programme to strengthen the good relationship between Manjung authorities and Malakoff, through sporting activities.

YDH Toh Seri Bijaya Lt. Kol (B) Dato' Shaharudin bin Haji Nazari, Orang Besar Jajahan (OBJ) Manjung was the Guest-of-Honour at the game. He was joined by the senior officials from Majlis Perbandaran Manjung, Pejabat Tanah & Daerah Manjung and Malakoff. The event was hosted by En. Nordin Kasim, Senior Vice President, International Operations & Services Division and En. Mohd Azmi Jusoh, Plant Manager of Lumut Power Plant.

En. Nordin in his speech said, “I would like to thank everyone for coming here today to participate in this tournament. I hope this tournament will be an opportunity for us to show appreciation to our stakeholders for the continuous support over the years and may our good working relationship remains.”

En. Abdul Malik Husin from Majlis Perbandaran Manjung was the tournament’s champion, while En. Shamsul Haziman from Pejabat Tanah & Daerah Manjung and Lt. Kol (B) Dato' Shaharudin bin Haji Nazari, OBJ Manjung were in second and third places, respectively.

The prizes to all winners were presented by En. Mohd Azmi Jusoh.
