On 12 March 2016, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (“Malakoff”), a member of MMC Group, successfully organized a friendly bowling match between Malakoff KL HQ staff and Utusan Group. The event held at Kiara Bowl, Bukit Kiara Kuala Lumpur was the first time Malakoff organized such event with the media. It is part of our engagement effort to strengthen our relationship with the mainstream media.

A total of 30 bowlers from Utusan Group and 10 bowlers from Malakoff were divided into 10 groups that consisted of both organizations.

The players went all-out to outdo each other in the quest to be the winners of the match. En. Bazli Abdul Rahman was announced the best bowler from Utusan in the Individual category, whereas En. Azizan Osman was named the best bowler from Malakoff. For Group category, team “Tangkap Muat” which consisted of En. Bazli Abdul Rahman, Rikiman Yusof, Mohd. Isham Idris and Yusop Mokhtar claimed the champion title with the score of 1275 points, followed by teams Foto Digital with 1128 points and “Pernah Champions” with 1087 points. Prizes to all winners were presented by En Affan Mohd Nawi, Senior Vice President of Corporate Services.
