Malakoff Corporation Berhad (“Malakoff”) distributed 120 packed foods for ‘iftar’ to staff of News and Current Affairs Department of TV3 at Sri Pentas Bandar Utama. The event was attended by Group Editor of News and Current Affairs of Media Prima Berhad, Encik Kamaruddin Mape and Malakoff’s Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, Mr. Saravanan Desigamanie.

The packed food is a gesture of Malakoff’s appreciation towards the commitment of news and current affairs personnel for their dedication and commitment in the field of journalism and broadcasting. Malakoff had taken the initiative as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) community programme in the holy month of Ramadan.

“We value our relationship with all our stakeholders, and that includes members of the media. As we are slowly transitioning into an endemic stage, we hope this serves as a first step forward towards having more working events with our media partners to further strengthen our relationship”, said Mr. Saravanan.
