On 25 March 2016, Malakoff participated in a friendly bowling tournament organized by Penjanabebas at Wangsa Bowl, IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. The tournament was participated by the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA), the Energy Commission (EC), Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and members of Penjanabebas, the Association of Malaysian Independent Power Producers.

This tournament is one of the stakeholder engagement activities that has been lined up by Penjanabebas in 2016 to strengthen the working relationship between its members and stakeholders in a more relaxed environment. 15 groups that comprised of 60 bowlers took part in the event which saw the players competing all-out to outdo each other in the quest to be the winners of the night. Prizes to the winners were presented by En. Yusop Abdul Rashid, Honorary Secretary of Penjanabebas.
