10th October 2024 marks the successful completion of an intensive training programme for the first cohort of Malakoff Internal Coaches. 13 participants acquired 28 accredited coaching hours as part of an International Coaching Federation (“ICF”) accredited course. These individuals were selected and nominated by their Heads of Division from among Malakoff's High Potential employees (referred to as "Malakoff Talent") and met the rigorous selection criteria set by the People Division. Joining this accomplishment are a select few Heads of Departments (“HODs”), who are also completing this programme to strengthen their coaching expertise. This achievement underscores Malakoff’s commitment to cultivating a strong internal coaching network that reflects our values and supports our leaders’ ability to inspire and guide others, thereby reinforcing Malakoff's leadership development foundation.
Looking forward, our goal is to continue growing our coaching pool with fully accredited coaches and to extend access to coaching across all employees within Malakoff. By building an inclusive and accessible coaching platform. We are paving the way for a future where every Malakoff employee can benefit from professional coaching, thereby supporting both individual and organisational growth and sustainability.
In the coming months, the People Division will launch the newly structured Malakoff Coaching Programme, a unique development platform designed specifically for Malakoff Talent, offering them growth opportunities as either coaches or coachees. Through this programme, coaches gain valuable leadership experience, while coachees receive personalised guidance that enhances their impact in their roles. This dual approach aligns seamlessly with our People Transformation Agenda under Pillar 3, fostering a culture of continuous learning and talent development.
Our initial sessions with the first cohort of coaches have revealed strong enthusiasm and commitment to creating meaningful, impactful partnerships with their coaches – graduates of the 2023 Leadership Development Programme. Through this initiative, we hope to establish coaching as a foundational element of Malakoff’s culture, cultivating an environment where coaching becomes instinctive across the group. By embedding this coaching culture, we are not only enhancing individual development but also strengthening our collective capabilities, ensuring that Malakoff remains resilient, adaptive and forward-focused.
Thank you for your continued support.
