Malakoff Corporation Berhad (“Malakoff”), a member of MMC Group, has won two awards at The Disaster Recovery Institute (“DRI”) Business Continuity Management (“BCM”) Regional Business Continuity & Cyber Resilience – Virtual Conference & Awards of Excellence that was held from 23 to 24 August 2021. Malakoff was awarded with ‘BCM Team of The Year Award 2020’ and ‘Best Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) Award’.

The BCM Team of the Year Award recognises the human capital of business continuity departments across the organisation, including teams that venture into variety of fields, or are geographically dispersed. As for the ABCP award, it recognises good standing in demonstrating continuous learning and practicing BCM.

DRI is the oldest and largest global BCM organisation. They are well recognised in promoting a base of common knowledge for the BCM industry, certifying qualified individuals in the discipline of BCM and promoting the credibility and professionalism of certified individuals.

The awards present a unique opportunity and professional platform for professionals and organisations to be publicly recognised as leaders in specific fields amongst fellow practitioners in the industry internationally.
