Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff) won the Risk Management Team of the Year Award in conjunction with the Malaysian Association of Risk & Insurance Management (MARIM) Conference 2018 held on 18 July 2018 at Renaissance Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The conference, themed “GO BOLA! (Go Beyond, Go Original, Go agiLe, Go Ahead)” was officiated by Puan Jessica Chew, Deputy Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia.

The award was presented by Datuk Ir. Lim Tong Kang, Chairman of MARIM to Yusop Abdul Rashid, Head of Corporate Affairs & Stakeholder Management Division, Malakoff.

The other winners were FGV (1st runner-up) and UEM Edgenta (2nd runner-up).

MARIM is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting and raising the awareness and standards of risk management in organisations in Malaysia.

The award recognises the Risk Management Team in the risk management fraternity which demonstrates that it has gone the extra mile with measurable results in effectively implementing risk management practices. This award also sets the benchmark for the risk management professionals in the country.
