Malakoff Power Berhad [201001025089 (909003-H)] (“MPB”), a subsidiary of Malakoff Corporation Berhad [200601011818 (731568-V)] (“MCB”) invites companies with relevant experience and with financial capabilities to participate in the Tender exercise for Price Agreement for Scaffolding Services - Outages Package at Tanjung Bin Power Plant (“TBPP”), Tanjung Bin Energy Power Plant (“TBEPP”) and Coal Handling Facilities (“CHF”) for Malakoff Power Berhad and Its Subsidiaries & Affiliate Companies as stated below:

Tender Document Fee is non-refundable and payment shall be made during collection of Tender Document.
Tentative Contract Duration
Three (3) years contract, based on two (2) plus one (1) year, subject to performance evaluation
Tender Deposit
RM150,000.00
All payments shall be made in the form of Bank Draft payable to “Malakoff Power Berhad”.
Tender Deposit shall be paid during submission of tender proposal and it shall be refundable in accordance
with the terms of the Tender Document.
Tentative Contract Commencement Date
1 January 2025
Key Mandatory Requirements
Tenderer is registered with Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (“SSM”).
To attend mandatory Tender Briefing and Site Visit.
To submit duly executed Litigation Form (Declaration of no dispute with MCB including its subsidiaries, holding company and/or affiliates company).
To submit duly executed Form of Tender.
Company with strong financial capability to sustain the contract based on the assessment by MPB i.e. audited financial statements, management account, bank statement and banking facilities (if applicable).
Having related experiences for following scope:
Outages Package (Internal & External Scaffolding)
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in scaffolding works at Thermal or Bulk
Handling Plant/O&M Industries/Heavy Industries/Oil & Gas and/or Construction
Industry.
Minimum three (3) instances of work execution experience in scaffolding works
within five (5) years from tender’s closing date for projects at local Thermal or Bulk Handling Plant/O&M Industries/Heavy Industries/Oil & Gas and/or Construction Industry with Purchase Order/ Price Agreement Contract/ Long-Term Service Agreement and with a total contract value within five (5) years from tender’s closing date of not less than RM1,000,000.
Outages Package (Furnace)
Minimum one (1) instance of work execution in complete internal boiler (furnace) scaffolding works within five (5) years from the tender’s closing date at a
local Coal Fired Power Plant (CFPP) with a minimum capacity of 300MW and a total contract value of not less than RM600,000 within five (5) years from tender’s closing date.
Remarks:
The minimum requirements stated above are prerequisites for the Tenderer to participate in the new business opportunity with MCB.The details of these requirements are available in Tender Document. Notwithstanding all stipulated requirements, MCB reserves the right to issue the Tender Document to any persons as MCB deems appropriate.

Remarks:
It is COMPULSORY for the Tenderers to attend the tender briefing at the time and venue as specified. Failure to attend may cause the Tenderers’ submission to be disqualified.
Tenderers are advised to limit the attendance at the site visit to a maximum of two (2) personnel. Please ensure the right personnel attend the site visit.
Tenderers’ representatives shall be equipped with the following personal protective equipment (“PPE”) during the site visit:
(a) Safety Helmet;
(b) Safety Shoes;
(c) Safety Goggles/Glasses;
(d) Working Jacket; and
(e) Earmuffs/Ear Plugs
