Mohd Hadi Mohamed Anuar, a Malaysian, holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. He is an Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (“AIIA”) and has more than 20 years of auditing experience.

He joined Malakoff in February 2016 as the Chief Internal Auditor and currently leads the Group Internal Audit of the Company which is responsible to support the Board Audit Committee and the Board in discharging its duties and governance responsibilities of maintaining a sound internal control system within the organisation.

He started his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen/Ernst & Young from 2000 to 2004 and joined Petroliam Nasional Berhad (“PETRONAS”) in 2005 where he assumed the role of Audit Manager in the Group Internal Audit Division of PETRONAS. During his tenure with PETRONAS, he was also assigned to KLCC Holdings Berhad (“KLCC”) to set up and lead the Group Internal Audit Division of KLCC Group and was the acting Head of the Division for almost 2 years before returning to PETRONAS.

Prior to joining Malakoff, he was the Head of the Joint Venture Audit Department of PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd and was responsible to oversee all joint venture audits on PETRONAS upstream business joint ventures with other oil and gas companies in Malaysia and overseas.
