Malakoff Corporation Berhad organised the Inaugural Malakoff Golf Invitational 2010 (Authorities) at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club, Shah Alam, on 24 April 2010.

The event saw the participation of 76 golfers representing at least 15 government ministries and agencies as well as government-linked companies. The Guest-of-Honour at the tournament was YB Dato’ Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui, Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water Malaysia.

The overall champion of the tournament was En. Ab Jalil Abdullah of Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN).

The tournament was organised as part of Malakoff’s commitment to building meaningful relationships with stakeholders as Malakoff’s operating culture has always been about engaging its stakeholders, be it the local communities where we have our operations or with key influencers and decision makers such as local authorities, regulators, community leaders and other related government agencies.

Malakoff’s Chairman, YBhg. Tan Sri Abdul Halim Ali said that he was “personally happy to see so many familiar faces at the event”, having been the former top civil servant of the country. He also congratulated the Organising Committee for making the event not only successful but also memorable.
