On 12 October 2019, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff) organised a friendly bowling match between Malakoff and BERNAMA at U Bowl, One Utama, Damansara. A total of 30 bowlers from BERNAMA and Malakoff participated in the friendly match aimed to strengthen the rapport and working relationship between Malakoff and the media.

The players were split into 10 teams and everyone showed great teamwork to emerge as the champion of the match. A roll off by Deputy Editor-in-Chief (Audio Visual), BERNAMA, En Abdul Rahman Ahmad commenced the fun-filled match amidst a very competitive setting.

En. Amarul Nakhim Ahmad from BERNAMA bagged the best bowler in the Individual category with a total of 321 pin falls. In the Team category, Team 4 which consisted of En. Amarul, En Hamdanawal Muhamad Sukri (BERNAMA) and En Halim Mohd Ali (Malakoff) won the first place with the score of 880 pin falls, followed by Team 10 with 824 pin falls and Team 5 with 787 pin falls. Prizes to all winners were presented by En. Abdul Rahman.

En Amarul expressed his gratitude to Malakoff for organising the friendly with BERNAMA. “We had a good time today and such event has helped to foster our working relationship with corporate organisations such as Malakoff,” he added.
