Fiona Shardin graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) in 2000. She was called to the Malaysian Bar and admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2001.
She joined Malakoff Corporation Berhad as the Head of Legal & Contract Department, Corporate Services & Integrity Division on 2 January 2025, after serving for 8 years at MMC Corporation Berhad (“MMC”), where her last position was Assistant General Manager.
Prior to joining MMC, she was a Partner at Hisham, Sobri & Kadir, Advocates & Solicitors. During her time in legal practice, she handled a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, with emphasis on acquisitions and disposals, joint venture arrangements and general corporate advisory work. She also advised on property and real estate transactions, including acquisitions and divestments of real property, leases, tenancies and joint venture and shareholders’ agreements involving property development companies.
She has approximately 17 years of experience in legal practice and 9 years of in-house legal experience in the ports and logistics, energy and utilities, engineering and land development sectors.
