Alam Flora Sdn Bhd (Alam Flora) and its subsidiary, Alam Flora Environmental Solutions Sdn Bhd (AFES), are leaders in environmental solutions for commercial and residential clients in Malaysia. Alam Flora holds the concession to collect waste and provide public cleansing services in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Pahang. Our operational assets include a landfill and an incinerator. We also run leachate treatment plants, two Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs), buy-back centres and an anaerobic digester. We manage around 5,000 tonnes of waste daily across our concession and non-concession areas, including recyclables collected.
Genesis Facility Solutions Sdn Bhd, also known as Genesis, is a 100 % wholly owned subsidiary company of Malakoff Corporation Bhd (Malakoff), who is the leading player in providing sustainable solution for facility management and environmental solutions. Initially being a department in Alam Flora Environmental Solutions Sdn Bhd (AFES), which has been established since 2013, Genesis offers forward-thinking environmental solutions through its core business activities of Facilities Management and Energy Management. With the support of our parent company Malakoff, Genesis has been able to incorporate sustainable solutions as part of its offering to all its clientele.
Malakoff’s International Assets and Investment Development department oversees Malakoff’s investments in Independent Water Producers (IWP) and Independent Water and Power Producers (IWPP) in various Middle East regions. With more than 473,000 m3 of total effective capacity a day, these ventures play a significant role in our portfolio, contributing to our business growth through strategic acquisitions and greenfield development.
