On the international front, Malakoff manages investments in Independent Water and Power Plants (IWPPs) across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman, with a combined effective capacity of 472,975 m³ per day, supplying clean water to over 42 million people. Genesis Facility Solutions Sdn Bhd, also known as Genesis, is a 100 % wholly owned subsidiary company of Malakoff Corporation Bhd (Malakoff), who is the leading player in providing sustainable solution for facility management and environmental solutions. Initially being a department in Alam Flora Environmental Solutions Sdn Bhd (AFES), which has been established since 2013, Genesis offers forward-thinking environmental solutions through its core business activities of Facilities Management and Energy Management. With the support of our parent company Malakoff, Genesis has been able to incorporate sustainable solutions as part of its offering to all its clientele.
Malakoff’s International Assets and Investment Development department oversees Malakoff’s investments in Independent Water Producers (IWP) and Independent Water and Power Producers (IWPP) in various Middle East regions. With more than 473,000 m3 of total effective capacity a day, these ventures play a significant role in our portfolio, contributing to our business growth through strategic acquisitions and greenfield development.
