Malakoff Power Berhad is looking for a competent and registered Safety & Health Officer (Green Book holder) to support the implementation of safety and health practices at our Tanjung Bin Power Plant.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure full compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and relevant regulations.
• Perform duties as the registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) in accordance with DOSH requirements.
• Conduct workplace inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments to ensure safe plant operations.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Organise and coordinate safety training, toolbox meetings and awareness programs.
• Monitor contractor safety performance and ensure adherence to site safety procedures.
• Liaise with DOSH and other regulatory authorities when required.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports and statutory compliance records.
Requirements
• Registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH (Green Book holder) is mandatory.
• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Health, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience, preferably in power generation, utilities, heavy industry, or oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, HSE management systems and risk management practices.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work closely with operations, maintenance teams and contractors.
• Willing to be based at Tanjung Bin Power Plant, Johor.
